Fallout 4 screenshots
I enjoy photography when I have the time and the gear, otherwise I like to take game screenshots to keep my composition skills sharp. Fallout 4 made huge improvements in lighting and atmospheric quality, and it’s been a pleasure to shoot in the Commonwealth. These are unmodified photos from the game, and I only use the console to zoom and hide the UI.
Short videos
While I don’t do it professionally, video editing is a great exercise in planning, expression, timing, and self-criticism.
We needed to test some new SoundHound technology against a competitor, but without access to their backend there was no way to automate the testing. I figured out a simple way to at least semi-automate the testing, plus make a short video to show off our engine’s speed. I did everything here, from designing the test conditions and writing the Arduino code to running hundreds of tests and editing the video.
